I Travel for the Adventure
I wake up in a foreign country, foreign sounds, foreign smells, foreign sensations. The sun is just starting to rise as I walk up the stairs of the hotel to the roof-deck. The seagulls are screeching over my head. The first morning prayer can be heard in every small alley. I close my eyes. Morocco is slowly awakening.
I travel to get to know myself
Cameras became the eyes of the world. Wanting to capture unique moments to be able to share your experiences with others. Conveying feelings, flavours, smells and emotions, trying to capture the perfect moment is the challenge of this five day journey. Morocco is a country of contrast. Beautiful restaurants and hotels hidden between narrow, labyrinthine alleys and rundown houses. My hand running over the rough stone of the antique walls underneath the reflection of the colorful lights. Captivated since the very first moment. Completely forgetting about the camera that is following every step.
I Travel to listen to the world
Early mornings as well as late nights are part of this journey. First thing in the morning is to get all the camera equipment together, followed by a quick team meeting to go over the plan for the day. Riding quad bikes, discovering the desert on the back of a camel, learning about the rich culture of Morrocco, falling in love with the great variety of the oriental cuisine or a hot-air balloon ride – these are the adventures that we are capturing.
I travel to See the difference
At the end of the day we are falling into our bed, exhausted and overwhelmed by all the new impressions. We are taking a break to think about all the impressions and to come up with new creative ideas for the next exciting day.
Thanks to iTravel who organized this trip for us and to my team Simon, Lucas and Lynn for those incredible days.
